Aww thanks boo that seriously means a lot. I mean mucho grasiaz. He thinks there are pockets of impenetrable hispanicism in both LA and New York. I just imagine him rolling a rental mercedes up to a gaggle of brownish hoodlums and telling me to “get out of the car and ask those young men how to get to the library” or something…

I might be going to New York for my job, accompanying my old, old boss on a mission to transfer really old film of chimpanzees doing sign language to digital video. The only catch is I told him I speak Spanish, so he’s going to expect me to interpret for him…

so the summer of spanish begins.
